Ecodrones operator on site in Ireland

About

An aviation company working for engineers.

Ecodrones operates across Ireland's infrastructure, energy, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors. Our work is judged by what it removes from a project: risk, downtime, cost and uncertainty.

How we work.

Every engagement begins with the asset and the constraint: what has to be inspected, what cannot be taken offline, and what the outcome has to prove. Method and platform follow from that, never before it.

Operations are planned, briefed and recorded. Deliverables are written for the people who sign off on them.

Safety is a design decision

The safest way to inspect an asset is to remove the person from the hazard. Every method we use starts there.

Data has to be usable

A survey is only valuable if an engineer can act on it. Deliverables are structured, referenced and comparable.

Operations come first

We plan around shutdown windows, permits and production schedules, not the other way around.

Our operators

Licensed, insured flight crew — not subcontractors.

Critical infrastructure work is only as good as the people flying it. Ecodrones maintains its own crew of trained pilots, observers and operations staff, deployable nationwide.

Licensed pilots in command

Every mission is flown by an Ecodrones pilot operating under our IAA Specific Category operational authorisation and EASA-compliant operations manual. Flight operations are never subcontracted.

Type-rated on every platform

Crews are trained per airframe — DJI Matrice survey aircraft, ABZ heavy-lift and spray platforms, and Elios 3 for confined-space and indoor entry.

Two-person crews on complex sites

Pilot in command plus a dedicated observer or ground crew for exclusion zones, vertical cleaning and live industrial environments.

Site-ready and inducted

Safe Pass, manual handling, PPE and client site inductions completed before mobilisation, with method statements and risk assessments issued in advance.

Insured and documented

Public/Product Aviation Liability to €6.5m, Chemical Liability to €65,000 and Professional Indemnity to €55,000. Certificates and flight records issued on request.

Available on hire

Rental pilots with equipment, plus functional operator training and licensing support for in-house teams building their own capability.
